FOUNDATION PRESENTS NOTE BOOKS AND WRITING MATERIALS TO SCHOOL CHILDREN.

 

Awele Ugochukwu Osisi Foundation in collaboration with Team Bishop have presented note books and other writing materials worth hundreds of thousands of naira to eleven primary and secondary schools at Nsukwa Clan, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Presenting the items to the school children at Ashama where the team took off for the project, Bishop Brian Ilomechine said the gesture was to support the parents of the children especially now that the economy is bad.

He said the best legacy one can give to children was education, noting that a well trained child would become a blessing to the family and the nation at large.

Bishop Ilomechine said Aniocha South Local Government Area would be great in the future, if proper attention was paid to children education.

He lauded the founder of Awele Ugochukwu Osisi Foundation, Comrade Awele Osisi for her initiative of establishing the foundation, adding that the foundation has the interest of children at heart.

Ilomechine while saying that children were the bedrock of every nation, he urged parents to see their children education as top priority.
Awele Ugochukwu Osisi Foundation in collaboration with Team Bishop in line with the state Government job creation program equally presented six Point of sales ( POS) machines and cash of thirty thousand naira each to six persons in the locality.

The cleric said they decided to present POS machines to the people to enable them set up little business for themselves and become self dependent, commending the state Governor, elder Sheriff Oborevwori for his administration’s various youths empowerment programs in the state.

The principals and headteachers who received the items on behalf of their students and pupils lauded the donors for the gesture, prayed God to continue to bless them.

The schools that received the items include, Ashama Comprehensive secondary school, Ekelie primary school, Ashama, Perfect Gate nursery and primary school Ashama,  Ulogwe primary school, Umute, Umomi primary school, Ewulu, Ewulu Mixed Grammar school.

Others were, Lima Nursery and primary school, Ewulu, saint Stephen nursery and primary school Ewulu, Adofi primary school, Ejeme- Unor, Obi Ezeamaka primary school, Nsukwa and Enede primary school, Nsukwa.
