CATTLE BREEDERS CALLS TO SHUN ACTIONS CAPABLE OF CAUSING CRISES.
A call has gone to Shuwa Arab cattle breeders at power line, polytechnic road Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State to shun actions that are capable of breaching the peace in the Community.
The traditional ruler of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom, Obi Ifechukwude Okonjo 11, made the call during a meeting with the cattle breeders in his palace at Ogwashi-Uku.
Obi Okonjo who spoke through the palace secretary , Prince Jude Emordi urged the cattle breeders to shun crises of any kind, adding that they should not release their cattles in the night to destroy peoples crops in the farm.
While saying that cattle breeders that destroys peoples farm would face the full day wrath of law, he added that they should respect the custom and tradition of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom.
The royal father advised the cattle breeders to work as one with their leader, Alhaji Yunus Gugu that was appointed and known by the palace, corporate with one another and shun crises, adding that Alhaji Gugu is the only Shuwa Arab leader that is recognized by the palace.
Earlier in his address, the leader of Shuwa Arab cattle breeders at Ogwashi-Uku, Alhaji Yunus Gugu said they were in the palace to brief the Obi on the activities of the cattle breeders.
He described the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom, Obi Ifechukwude Okonjo 11 as peace loving, nothing that he has the interest of Shuwa Arab people and others at heart.
Alhaji Gugu said he would continue to work hard with his people to ensure peaceful co-existenc with their host Community.
He assured the palace that cattle breeders that releases their cattles to destroy peoples farm would be investigated and made to pay compensation to the farmer.
