SOME suspected armed herdsmen have abducted some passengers and killed one between Olliogwu and Ndemili in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The incident which occurred on Wednesday saw the hoodlums laying bush and blocking the road and unleashing mayhem on the travellers.
A viral video on the social media credited to Creative Director of Leaptv, said one person was shot dead during the attack.
A voice in the video said the incident “happened between Olliogwu and Ndemili,” adding that “the herdsmen blocked this car and kidnapped everybody and killed one person inside the car. Look at the guy that they killed.”
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, who reportedly confirmed the incident, was quoted as saying: “It is confirmed, somebody was shot dead some others kidnapped.”
