KETARE TRADITIONAL RULER APPLAUD KATSINA STATE GOVERNMENT FOR ESTABLISHING STATE SAFETY ROAD AND TRAFFIC AUTHORITY

The Kanwan Katsina District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara ‘mni’ has commended the efforts and instrumentality of Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari for establishing the Katsina State Safety Road and Traffic Authority KASROTA

Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara made the commendation recently when he paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the Agency retired Assistant Inspector General of Police Alhaji Danlami Yaradua

The traditional ruler explained that establishing the agency will go a long way in providing job opportunities to the teeming youth in the state and generate revenue for the state government, adding that it will also help in enforcement of traffic laws and regulations in the state by motorists.

While congratulating his friend and course mate at NIPSS KuruJos, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara called on the Director General to use his wealth of experience for the development of the agency as pioneer DG.

In his address, the Director General, KASROTA RTD AIG of Police Danlami Yaradua while welcoming the Kanwan Katsina and his entourage to his office said he is the first to visit the agency on a courtesy visit since it was established.

Rtd AIG Danlami Yaradua explained that the visit will serve as a morale booster to management and staff of the agency and assured to use his experience from the police force to ensure the agency excelled.

He called for support of traditional rulers to enlighten their subjects on the operation of the agency noting that soon the agency will post its officers and men to various parts of the state.
