NAGAFF EXTOLS, RECOMMENDS COMPTROLLER KUNLE OLOYEDE TO FG FOR NATIONAL AWARD AS HE IS A TOAST OF THE TOWN

Customs Area Controller of the Tin Can Island Command of Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Kunle Oloyede is now the toast of town among freight forwarding practitioners, this is even as the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) have recommended him to the Federal Government for a national award.

The Chairman of Tin Can Port Chapter of NAGAFF, Fwrd. Emeka Paul Chiedozie rated Compt Oloyede as the most efficient, productive and very articulate in carrying out his duty, adding that he deserves to be recognized nationally.

Fwrd. Emeka who spoke further on how dedicated and committed Compt Kunle is to his job said “He doesn’t allow files stay more than 24 hours on his table, his major priority is to facilitate legitimate trade, 30 years on this job, this is the best and most understanding CAC Tin Can Port has ever had”

Speaking to some journalist shortly after a meeting of the chapter executives on Thursday, the NAGAFF Chairman equally welcomed all the newly posted Deputy Controllers, APM and junior officers to the command.

The NAGAFF Chairman who also doubles as the Managing Director Seagold Limited said “Since Compt Oloyede’s assumption of office as Customs Comptroller at Tin Can, the relationship of NAGAFF and Customs at the port has been cordial.

He described the Area Controller as a no-nonsense man who is very intelligent and versatile.

Speaking further, he said “With the presence of this CAC at Tin Can Port, the Lekki Freeport Terminal can’t compete with Tin Can. If only Federal government can just pay attention to the ship side and fix the collapsing quay apron.

That Collapsing quay apron is affecting Tin Can CAC revenue target, along side the economic situation of the country which is still dwindling because investors are waiting for the outcome of May 29th Presidential handover. About 150 containers have been put on hold by my Shipper till after the ceremony.

Earlier in his speech, the Vice Chairman of NAGAFF Tin Can Chapter, Fwrd. Ifeanyi Emoh commended the entire management team of Tin Can Customs, stating that NAGAFF has never had it so good like this.

Also Speaking, the NAGAFF Tin Can Chapter Public Relations Officer, Fwrd. Mustapha Aboki while reaffirming the words of the Chairman said, ” Comptroller Kunle is indeed a round peg in a round hole, a man of few words but full of actions.
