SPECIAL REPORT: MORTUARY ATTENDANTS REJECT NOLLYWOOD ACTOR, JNR. POPE’S BODY, SAYS….. HE’S ALIVE
Contrary to the viral death news of Nollywood Actor, Jnr. Pope as posted earlier by different Media houses, the President Actors Guild of Nigeria, (AGN), Comrd. Emeka Rollas has confirmed that the former is still alive but in comatose.
Confirming the report in one of his social media handle, Mr. Rollas wrote:
“What God cannot do does not exist.Junior Pope is alive. He is taking treatment in the hospital.
@actorguidofnigeria”.
The president’s refutal came shortly after it was reported that the Mortuary Attendants refused to accept the motionless body, arguing that the Actor had not taken his last breath but only needed a resuscitation.
The Forward News publisher, Miss Vivien Okafor reports that Jnr. Pope had given up the ghost in a fatal water accident involving a boat in River Niger.
A viral video had shown a seemingly lifeless body of the Actor alongside three other of his colleagues who were said to have been travelling by a boat to an undisclosed movie location but were involved in an accident.
However, it was still unascertained as to whether the boat conveying the Actors capsized leading to the awful incident.
Meanwhile, in the viral video, the 39-year-old star could be heard, while pleading with the captain to refrain from reckless sailing, lamenting that: “I’m an only child and I have three children I must train”.
The cause of the accident was yet to be confirmed as at the time of filing this report.
